Fall is governed by Vata dosha, which is composed of the elements ether and air. We see this around us in nature as summer's vibrant harvest transitions and beings to change, release, cool down, and dry up. This period of transition is ripe for releasing habituated patterns in your life, but it may also promote feelings of ungroundedness, lightness, or disconnection due to the dominance of air and movement, both externally and internally.
You will be guided through a deeply nourishing, grounding, and soothing practice, including warming asana; pranayama; meditation; and discussion. We will focus on ways to release what is needed and keep what is nourishing in service of staying stable and steady during seasons of change. This workshop will settle you from the inside out empower you to live and practice with greater ease. We will end our time together with a mini self-oil massage, abhyanga, so please bring clothing that is easily moved out of the way to access the arms, hands, legs, and feet.
This is balancing and replenishing for all, no matter what your dominant dosha or imbalance may be. We are all affected by the seasons; therefore, we will focus on best practices and techniques to stay vibrant and healthy season to season.
